We are advised by the Trading with the Enemy Department that the Company's Account with the Hongkong & Shanghai Bank has now been unblocked and, at the same time, the Board of the Company in Hongkong has authorised Mr.Butcher to sign on the Account. It is, therefore, being arranged that, in future, Mr.Butcher will deal with all correspondence, but we shall be happy to continue to lend our assistance in any way helpful to the rehabilitation of the Hongkong Electric Company.
